Life is full of experiences that hold a lasting effect on us and deter us from moving forward, but I feel that we also have a long list of personal strengths within our “SELF” that too often go unnoticed due to the overwhelm of life in general. I will work with you to identify, and utilize these strengths by processing through past trauma, stress and anxiety, to help to decrease the heaviness of having a deficient sense of self-worth.
I will I offer my personal perspectives from my life's experiences with being a queer individual, as an alcoholic in recovery for over 15-years and a father of four adopted children. I incorporate these life's experiences as a way to help empower you to meet YOUR fullest potential.
As an individual in recovery myself, I believe that everyone deserves support and validation. I work with individuals who struggle with addiction, as well as, providing support to the family members of those plagued by addiction.
I provide a non-judgmental approach to self-identify and acceptance. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I can truly empathize with the struggles of self-acceptance and approval.
As a licensed foster and adoptive parent, I can relate to those families who make the lifelong commitment to a child in need of a loving family, while also connecting with an individual of adoption.
